I'm not a specialist by any means in sweets, but I'll get a scoop of sherbert when stepping in with friends--the grapefruit sherbert, pictured above, is a good choice for someone like me since it sacrifices sweetness for tartness.
Flavors like wasabi, taro, black sesame, corn and mochi give the place an allure for the adventurous and they pull them off well--there's a genuineness with these non-standard flavors, they aren't just there for shock factor. On the other hand, their staple flavors like chocolate, vanilla and everything in between are effortlessly good. Prices are a little above average, but well worth it with a nice wide and open store front and friendly staff more than ready to hand out free tastings.
